    The two channels of the wavegen can be synchronised very easily, just hit the stop all button and then the start all button, they will both start at the same time and therefore in phase then. That is without going into all the complex triggering and synchronisation, like setting it to go for 5 cycles and trigger the scope when it starts and other things like that.

    This is a great video - thank you. For years, I have taken power supplies an attempted to use them as a bench power supply. I never connected anything to anything other than the 12 volt. Each and every time, sometimes sooner than later, the power supply would just shut off. I would have to disconnect the power to the the power supply, wait a while and reconnect for them to reset. But, as always, they would shut off. So, I did not see/hear any mention of this problem with your set up here. PLEASE tell me how you got around this issue?

    The only problem I can see with it is how difficult it is to change the jumpers on the BNC adapter, you won’t be able to get your fingers in there so you will need to use a pair of tweezers or similar. A better way of doing the top cover would be to have it dip down in the middle, or just be lower anyway, so that you can access the jumpers.

    Hi All Wow 45 years ago i done that luna lander on a HP calculator, we had ??? 5 or 6 of them, it took me almost 2 months before i got a perfect 0.00 landing, then pressed print to get it all saved on a strip of paper and the machine did not have enough paper, i think it saved something last the last 50 lines command and screen text when you print so you sort of see the calculation etc if it fits. But part of the way in printing it out, the paper ran out and only a few people in the library saw it and i never had proof of a touchdown

    I would have drilled all rivets, and then remove them from the drill by rotating it in reverse while poking at them rivets ...

    • @DougWong
      @DougWong 7 місяців тому

      My drill can reverse but there is nothing around the hole for the stuck washer to grab to prevent rotation. However the torn edges are sharp and could shred my gloves if trying to grab them with gloves while reversing.

    You don't really need internal screws. The board is held firmly in the grip of the shell screws. At least that's the way mine is.

    How do you come around region limitations (duty cycles/dwell time)?

    • @mikropower01
      @mikropower01 9 місяців тому

      One Bitmap Image takes 40 minutes, so he does not come around the limitations. Possibly if he would send a good compressed JPEG file, he could save a lot of time, but for this he had to use a STM32. Picture with 1226x690 pixel: BMP-picture (R8+G8+B8) = 2,4 MiB (2.539.338 Bytes) JPG-picture (Quality 50%) = 81,8 KiB (83.750 Bytes) 2539338byte/83750byte = 30,32 times faster in this example. So he would use not 40 minutes, he would make it in 1 minute and 20 seconds.

    •  9 місяців тому

      in Europe for example there is a 1% duty cycle. In an hour you're only allowed to send 36 seconds of data. 40 minutes seems well over this limit unless I'm missing something@@mikropower01

      @@mikropower01 😮 wonder what it takes to send 30 sec of audio converted to a jpeg 🍿 just the image going back and forth... offload the conversion to either a webservice or local app for testing🍿

    • @mikropower01
      @mikropower01 Місяць тому

      @@KJ-xt3yu - 30 seconds of mp3 audio (256kbyte) would be there in 7 minutes.20 seconds.

    This was very helpful, thank you. I’ve got my eye on a Multicomp Pro 720113 and am very tempted. I need one for DIY projects; Modular synth builds. I’m new to it, but have learned in life that you need the right tools for the job, and these scopes look just right. Thanks Doug 👌🏽
